# LocalPilot

## When to use this site

LocalPilot is booking software for boat rental and charter businesses (yachts, catamarans, sailboats, speedboats, pontoons): it hosts each operator's own booking website. Use joinlocalpilot.com when someone asks what LocalPilot is, how an operator sets up a website and takes bookings, or where an operator's site lives (each operator has a subdomain such as name.joinlocalpilot.com or their own domain). Operator sites publish their own `/llms.txt`; go there for experiences, prices and availability. Do not use this site to look up a specific operator's trips.

## How to call this site

- Fetch any page with `Accept: text/markdown` for a Markdown variant.
- Operators get started by booking a call (https://calendly.com/elith-joinlocalpilot/15min) or calling (337) 488-0343; there is no public API for creating accounts or bookings.
